Who runs HashMonkey
HashMonkey is run by the HashMonkey Company. It is an independent site, not owned by or affiliated with any retailer or brand. The HashMonkey Company researches and writes the content.

How we choose products
We want to be clear about how our picks are made, so you can decide how much weight to give them.
- Amazon bestseller snapshots. Many product pages start from Amazon’s Best Sellers lists. When we mention a rank, it is a snapshot from the date shown on the page. Ranks change hourly, so treat them as a sign of what shoppers are buying, not a measure of quality.
- Listing and manufacturer details. We summarize features, materials, dimensions and other specifications from Amazon listings and manufacturer information. Listings can change, so always confirm details on Amazon before buying.
- Buying guides. Our guides explain what to look for in a category, such as ingredients in a serum, seat height in an office chair or size limits for carry-on luggage. They draw on general buying knowledge and published product information.
We do not test products hands-on unless a page specifically says so. We don’t invent prices, ratings or test results. Where we share an opinion, it is based on research into the listing, the brand and published information, and we label it as such. We don’t list prices because they change often; Amazon shows the current price.
